Mae Cyngor Sir Ddinbych wedi gwneud Gorchymyn sy’n gwahardd/rhoi cyfyngiad ar gerbydau fel a ganlyn.

1. Cau Ffordd Dros Dro: Ni chaiff unrhyw un achosi i unrhyw gerbyd deithio ar hyd Stryd Fawr, Prestatyn, yn Sir Ddinbych y cyfeirir ati yn yr Atodlen isod.

2. Gwrthdroi Cyfyngiad Traffig Unffordd Dros Dro: Bydd Cyfyngiad Traffig Unffordd yn cael ei wrthdroi dros dro ar Stryd Fawr, Prestatyn fel y nodir yn yr Atodlen.

Mae angen cau’r ffordd dros dro er mwyn hwyluso gwaith marcio ffordd gan Gyngor Sir Ddinbych i hwyluso gwrthdroi’r cyfyngiad traffig unffordd presennol ar y Stryd Fawr am gyfnod prawf.

Bydd y ffordd ar agor i gerddwyr drwy gydol y cyfnod cau.

Bydd y Gorchymyn yn weithredol o 24 Mehefin 2026 gydag oes o ddeunaw mis.

NOTICE OF TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ORDER

DENBIGHSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

HIGH STREET, PRESTATYN

NOTICE OF TEMPORARY ROAD

TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)

Denbighshire County Council has made an Order prohibiting/restricting vehicular traffic as follows.

1. Temporary Road Closure: No person shall cause any vehicle to proceed in High Street, Prestatyn, in the County of Denbigh referred to in the Schedule below.

2. Temporary Reversal of One-Way traffic Restriction: The One-Way Traffic restriction shall be temporarily reversed on High Street Prestatyn as stated in the Schedule.

The reason for the temporary closure is to facilitate road marking works by Denbighshire County Council to facilitate the reversal of the current one-way traffic restriction on High Street for a trial period.

Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the period of closure.

The Order is effective from 24th June 2026 and has a life-span of eighteen months.

Schedule

Lengths of Road at Prestatyn in the County of Denbigh

1) Temporary Road closure: 24th to 25th June 2026

High Street; from its junction with Bridge Road to its junction with Penisardre Road.

2) Temporary Reversal of One-Way traffic restriction:

26th June 2026 to 1st December 2027

High Street; from its junction with Bridge Road to its junction with Penisardre Road.

The Diversion route will be via: High Street, Kings Avenue, Ffordd Pendyffryn, Penisardre Road and Bridge Road.
