THE HIGHLAND Council (B8043.Kingairloch road, ardnamurchan) (TEMPORARY TRAFFIC PROHIBITION) ORDER 2026

Notice is hereby given that on 11th of June 2026 The Highland Council made an Order in terms of Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended and titled as above. The Order has been requested to carry out the safe removal of energy infrastructure alongside the B8043 Kingairloch Road, Ardnamurchan.

This order shall come into force from 29th June 2026 and will remain in force until 24th July 2026, throughout that period, the use by vehicles of the length of the road specified in the schedule hereto except for by emergency services is prohibited at the times in the schedule below.

A copy of the Order can be inspected at the Service Point, Charles Kennedy Building, Achintore Road, Fort William on weekdays during normal office hours 09:30-12:30.

SCHEDULE

Road Affected: 
B8043 Kingairloch Road, Ardnamurchan

B8043 Kingairloch Road commencing at a point 7.5km or thereby south-west of it's junction with the A861 Drumsallie to Lochailort Road and continuing for 2.8km south-west before terminating. 

The closure will be in place on weekdays only between 08:00 and 17:00hrs daily, with access outside of those hours and through weekends.
