INSTALLATION OF A ROAD HUMPS

RYE LANE/HIGHROAD WELL LANE/STRETCHGATE LANE, PELLON, HALIFAX

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Borough Council of Calderdale in exercise of its powers under Section 90A of the Highways Act 1980 and having consulted with the

Chief of Police proposes to install road humps at the following locations:-

           

Location Proposal 
Rye Lane, 20m south of
its junction with Ling
Bob Close
Flat top speed table,
75mm high, 10.5m plateau,
1.5m ramps
Rye Lane at its junction
with Ashville Gardens
Flat top speed table,
75mm high, 20.5 metre
plateau, 2.0 metre ramps 
Highroad Well Lane,
14 metres north east of its
junction with Rye Lane
3 speed cushions,
75mm high, 3.0 metres in
length and 1.6 metres wide
Highroad Well Lane,
6 metres south west of its
junction with Rye Lane 
3 speed cushions,
75mm high, 3.0 metres in
length and 1.6 metres wide.
Highroad Well Lane,
57 metres north east of the
projected north eastern
kerbline of Rye Lane.
3 speed cushions,
75mm high, 3.0 metres in
length and 1.6 metres wide.
Stretchgate Lane, Pellon,
Halifax, at its junction with
Highroad Well Lan
Flat top speed table,
75mm high, 9.0 metre
plateau, 2.0 metre ramps

All objections must specify the grounds on which they are made.
