This prohibition is necessary for ducting works and it is expected that the closure will be from 29th June 2026 to 3rd July 2026. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekdays only.

Road affected - Road From Gwennap To Comford, Gwennap for its entire length.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Lanner.

This prohibition is necessary for drainage improvement works and it is expected that the closure will be from 13th July 2026 to 17th July 2026. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0730 and 1800, weekdays only.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned lengths of road in Carharrack.

This prohibition is necessary for cabling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 13th July 2026 to 17th July 2026. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1530, weekdays only.

Roads affected - Trevarth Road, Carharrack for its entire length and Sunrise Hill, Carharrack between the junction of Trevarth Road and Carnmarth.

Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 16th June 2026 in exercise of its powers under section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to prohibit the use by traffic over an area of highway being Newton Road, Troon between the junction of Newton Moor and Grenville Gardens.

The Council is satisfied that the Order is needed because of the likelihood of danger to the public due to a void in the carriageway. 

The Order will come into operation on 17th June 2026 and the works are expected to be completed by the 27th November 2026. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included. The road was previously closed for reasons of public safety by notice under Section 14(2) of the RTRA 1984 from the 27th May 2026 for a period of 21 days.

Nothing in this Order will apply to traffic associated with the works required within the highway specified above, any vehicle being used for the purposes of an undertaker in an emergency, such as loss of utility supplies and anything done with the permission of or at the discretion of a police officer. Pedestrian access to residents and businesses will be maintained.

Temporary Traffic Restriction Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to prohibit the use by traffic over an area of highway being Footpath 25 in the Parish of Stithians between grid references SW 74826 37457 and SW 74609 37219.

Notice is further given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above order in exercise of its powers under section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily impose a one-way system on Tresamble Hill Ponsanooth between the junctions of Pulla Cross and Pelean Cross in a north to southerly direction Foundry Road Stithians between the junctions of Foundry Hill and Tubbon Hill in a south west to north easterly direction Foundry Hill Stithians between the junctions of East Road and Foundry Road in a south west to north easterly direction East Road Stithians between the junctions of New Road and Foundry Hill in a south west to north easterly direction New Road Stithians between the junctions of Crellow Lane and East Road in a north west to south easterly direction 

The Square Stithians between the junctions of Church Road and New Road in a north west to south easterly direction Church Road Stithians between the junctions of Seaureaugh and The Square in a north west to south easterly direction Road from Seaureaugh Mill Stithians to the junction of Tubbon Hill in an east to westerly direction Seaureaugh Stithians between the junctions of Road from Seaureaugh Mill to Tubbon Hill and Church Road in a north east to south westerly direction on the 13th July 2026 and 12th July 2027 (0800 to 1800 hours). The Council is satisfied that the Order is needed owing to public safety during the Stithians Show event.

The Order will come into operation on 13th July 2026 and shall remain in force for eighteen months. The Order will be in operation between 13th July 2026 and 12th July 2027.

Nothing in Paragraph 1 of this Order will apply to emergency services, traffic associated with the works required within the highway specified above, any vehicle being used for the purposes of an undertaker in an emergency, such as loss of utility supplies and anything done with the permission of or at the discretion of a police officer.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned lengths of road in Ruan Lanihorne.

This prohibition is necessary for bridge repair works and it is expected that the closure will be from 13th July 2026 to 7th August 2026. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above order dated 15th June 2026 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned lengths of road in Probus.

This prohibition is necessary for resurfacing works and it is expected that the closure will be from 5th July 2026 to 25th July 2026. 

Roads subject to prohibition - A390 Between Trewithen And Grampound, Probus between grid references SW91582 48578 and SW92298 48541, A390 Between Chapel Street And Old Hill, Grampound, A390 Between Old Hill And Fore Street, Grampound, Fore Street, Grampound and Grampound Hill, Grampound for their entire lengths.

Notice is further given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 15th June 2026 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily impose a stopping prohibition the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any motor vehicle to stop as specified on the undermentioned lengths of road in Probus.

Where any vehicle is found to be in contravention of this Order it may receive a Penalty Charge Notice (PCN) and may be removed from site. Roads subject to stopping prohibition -A390 Between Trewithen And Grampound, Probus between grid references SW91582 48578 and SW92298 48541, A390 Between Chapel Street And Old Hill, Grampound, A390 Between Old Hill And Fore Street, Grampound, Fore Street, Grampound and Grampound Hill, Grampound for their entire lengths.

The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 1900 and 0600, weekends included.
