THE A38 TRUNK ROAD (PINXTON

INTERCHANGE, DERBYSHIRE) (TEMPORARY

PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC IN ABNORMAL LOAD VEHICLE BAYS) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that National Highways Limited (Company no. 9346363) intends to make an order on the A38 Trunk Road, at Pinxton, in the County of Derbyshire,  to allow resurfacing works to be carried out. The effect of the Order will be to close the two abnormal load vehicle bays located in the centre of the roundabout junction of the A38 with Mansfield Road and the slip roads leading to and from the M1 at Junction 28 (Pinxton Interchange).

The work will be carried out between 20:00 hours and 08:00 hours and is expected to start on Monday 13 July 2026 and continue for approximately eight days. The Order will come into force on 6 July 2026.

Vehicles being used for police, fire and rescue authority or ambulance purposes and vehicles being used in connection with the works will be exempt from the closures.
