NOTICE IS GIVEN that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has made an order the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a road closure in that length of Steel Mills, Keynsham from a point outside the property known as The Steel Mill extending north east for approximately 100 metres. This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road for Openreach to access the overhead network – cabling for new customer connection on the 23rd June 2026 for a maximum period of 6 months.
The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be affected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. Works are anticipated to be for ONE DAY between 09:30 - 15:30hrs.

• Lower Road, Hinton Blewett from its junction with Hook Lane extending north east to a point opposite Corner House on Lower Road. USRN: 47917404.
This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to enable Contractors to undertake Section 50 works in the carriageway from the 22nd June 2026 for a maximum period of 6 months.
