ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)

PART OF LONGFELLOW DRIVE FOOTPATH 20 HERRINGTHORPE ROTHERHAM

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PEDESTRIANS)

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council intends (not less than seven days from the date of this Notice) to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any pedestrian from proceeding along that part of Longfellow Drive Footpath 20 from number 450 Longfellow Drive to Number 452 Longfellow Drive from Monday 29th June until Friday 3rd July 2026.

NOTICE is further given that the alternative route for pedestrians will be via neighbouring footways.

The reason for the prohibition is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the footpath (Repairs to water apparatus).

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)

PART OF IVANHOE ROAD AND

PART OF ANSTON AVENUE KIVETON PARK SHEFFIELD

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along the two parts of road specified in the Schedule to this Notice. The part of Ivanhoe Road will be closed from Monday 22nd. June until Monday 10th. July 2026. The part of Anston Avenue will be closed from Monday 6th July until Friday 24th July 2026.

NOTICE is further given that the alternative route for vehicles affected by the Order will be via local neighbouring streets.

The reason for the prohibitions is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the two parts of road (Water main renewal).

SCHEDULE

(i)    Ivanhoe Road from its junction with Station Road to its junction with Anston Avenue.

(ii)   Anston Avenue from its junction with Station Road to its junction with Highfield Avenue.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that part of Orchard Avenue from its junction with Nurser Road for a distance of approximately 30m in an easterly direction from Monday 22nd June until Friday 26th June 2026.

NOTICE is further given that the alternative route will be via Nursery Road, Norfolk Drive, The Oval, Warwick Way and vice versa.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council intends (not less than seven days from the date of this Notice) to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along Hesley Grange from its junction with Wentworth Close for a distance of approximately 70m in a westerly direction from Monday 29th June until Friday 3rd July 2026.

NOTICE is further given that there is no alternative route, the road is a cul de sac. There will be limited access for residents.

The reason for the prohibition is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road (electrical works).

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that part of Chapel Street from its junction with Main Street for a distance of approximately 30m in a westerly direction on Sunday 21st June 2026.

NOTICE is further given that the alternative route for vehicles affected by the Order will be via Main Street, Church Street, Croft Street, Chapel Street and vice versa.

The reason for the prohibition is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road (traffic management).

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council intends (not less than seven days from the date of this Notice) to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that part of B6059 School Road across the M1 motorway bridge from Monday 29th June until Wednesday 1st July 2026 between 9pm and 6am each day.

NOTICE is further given that the alternative route will be via School Road, Wales

Road, Station Road, Kiveton Lane, Worksop Road roundabout, Worksop Road, A57

M1 Roundabout, Aston Way, Aston Way Mansfield Road roundabout, Aston Way

Chesterfield Road roundabout, Chesterfield Road, Chesterfield Road roundabout, Mosborough Parkway, Beighton Road, Eckington Way, Drake House Lane, Holbrook Avenue, Sheffield Road, Rotherham Road, Mansfield Road and vice versa.

The reason for the prohibitions is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road (Repairs to motorway bridge joints).
