(CHURCH LANE, TWYWELL)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that North Northamptonshire Council have made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Church Lane, Twywell as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Church Lane, Twywell from outside Ayres Rock to outside Nutmeg Cottage.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during cover and frame replacement.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 23rd June 2026 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for up to 7 days.

(DINGLEY ROAD, DESBOROUGH)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that North Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Dingley Road, Desborough as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Dingley Road, Desborough from 20 metres either side of railway crossing.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during maintenance works.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 6th July 2026 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for up to 1 night (21.00 hrs to 06.00 hrs)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that North Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of High Street, Irthlingborough as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of High Street, Irthlingborough from Duke of Wellington (Public House) to High Street.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during new water connection works.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 6th July 2026 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for up to 3 days.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that North Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Warkton Lane, Warkton Village as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Warkton Lane, Warkton Village from A4300 to Warkton Lane.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during drainage investigation works.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 7th July 2026 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of High Street, Bozeat from Warners Hill to London Road.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during new water connection works.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 6th July 2026 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)  ORDER  2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that North Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Harley Way, Benefield and Pilton as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Harley Way, Benefield and Pilton – 100 metres west of Lyveden New Build access to 50 metres east of Churchfields Farm.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during carriageway reconstruction.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 9th July 2026 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for up to 6 days.

(PIPEWELL ROAD & DESBOROUGH ROAD, RUSHTON)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)  ORDER  2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that North Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along those lengths of Pipewell Road and Desborough Road, Rushton as set out below.

LENGTHS OF ROADS TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: Those lengths of Pipewell Road and Desborough Road, Rushton from Pipewell Road to the industrial estate and then to East Carlton Road.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during trial holes and patching works.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 27th June 2026 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the roads will be restricted for up to 13 days.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)  ORDER  2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that North Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Arnhill Road, Gretton as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Arnhill Road, Gretton from outside no.12.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during pole replacement works.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 7th July 2026 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
