STOCKTON-ON-TEES BOROUGH COUNCIL
FOOTPATH NO.9 AND 10, GRINDON
TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2026
Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 on 15th June 2026, the Highway Authority being satisfied that the restrictions are required because of the likelihood of danger to the public, or of serious damage to the footpaths, which are not attributable to the works.
The effect of the Order, which came into effect on 15th June 2026, is to temporarily close Footpaths No.9 and 10, Grindon, at such times as signs may be erected to notify users of the closure. A copy of the sealed Order and map can be viewed at the Stockton Customer Service Centre, Central Library, The Square, Stockton-on-Tees during normal office hours and on the Council's website (Traffic Orders). The Order may continue in force for a maximum period of six months, unless extended with approval from the Secretary of State for Transport. Access for pedestrians and emergency services will not be maintained.
