PUBLIC NOTICE
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (U46009 Ashton Road/U46011 Grafton Lane, Beckford) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026
Proposed Order: To close that part of: 1) U46009 Ashton Rd from its junction with U46011 Grafton Ln for a distance of 50 metres in a westerly direction and 45 metres in an easterly direction. 2) U46011 Grafton Ln from its junction with U46009 Ashton Rd for a distance of 25 metres in a northerly direction.
Reason: Utility water works by STW.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: Diversion Closure 1: U46009 Ashton Rd (part), C2005 Station Rd, A46 Cheltenham Rd, U46010 Grafton Rd and vice versa.
Diversion Closure 2: U46011 Grafton Ln (part), U46009 Ashton Rd and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days.
Commencing: 13 July 2026.
