ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 THE COUNTY OF DEVON (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION) 
(TEMPLE ROAD, EXETER) ORDER 2026
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC 

NOTICE is hereby given that Devon County Council has made the above titled order. From 22/6/26 for a maximum of 18 months. 

Anticipated Finish 13/7/26. No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed on the sections of Affected Roads. 

Roads affected: TEMPLE ROAD, EXETER. 

The alternative, signed, route for vehicles will be via - PHASE 1: ROBERTS ROAD, FAIRPARK ROAD, DEAN STREET. PHASE 2: DEAD END ROAD CLOSURE - ACCESS ONLY FOR RESIDENTS IS MAINTAINED. 

This temporary restriction is considered necessary to enable: LEAD REPLACEMENT SCHEME -LEAD REPLACEMENT TO RESOLVE WATER QUALITY ISSUES.

NOTICE is hereby given that Devon County Council intends to make the above titled order. From 13/7/26 for a maximum of 18 months. Anticipated Finish 3/9/26. No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed or wait on the sections of Affected Roads. 

Roads affected: DEAN STREET, EXETER. 

The alternative, signed, route for vehicles will be via -TEMPLE ROAD, ROBERTS ROAD, FAIRPARK ROAD & VICE VERSA. This temporary restriction is considered necessary to enable: LEAD PIPE REPLACEMENT SCHEME.

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC & PARKING, & SUSPENSION OF ONE WAY
 

NOTICE is hereby given that Devon County Council has made the above titled order. From 22/6/26 for a maximum of 18 months. Anticipated Finish 5/10/26. No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed or wait on the sections of Affected Roads. 

Roads affected: OXFORD STREET, CHURCH ROAD, BEAUFORT ROAD, EXETER. 

The alternative, signed, route for vehicles will be via - SCHOOL ROAD, CECIL ROAD, CHURCH ROAD, OXFORD STREET. The One Way system on the Affected Road will be suspended. Roads affected - OXFORD STREET, & CECIL ROAD, EXETER.
