What is happening?
Salford City Council proposes to make Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the titles and effects of which are as follows:
CITY OF SALFORD (MAGENTA AVENUE, CADISHEAD AND LOWER IRLAM) (PROHIBITION OF WAITING) ORDER 2026 NO WAITING AT ANY TIME: Magenta Avenue, both sides, from its junction with Liverpool Road, to a point 13m west from the western extended kerbline of Sienna Close CITY OF SALFORD (ALLOTMENT ROAD, RIVINGTON GROVE AND JELLICOE AVENUE, CADISHEAD AND LOWER IRLAM) (PROHIBITION OF WAITING) ORDER 2026 NO WAITING AT ANY TIME: Rivington Grove, both sides from the north westerly projected kerbline of Allotment Road, for 10m in a north westerly direction. Jellicoe Avenue, both sides from the south easterly projected kerbline of Allotment Road, for 10m in a south easterly direction. Allotment Road, (i) north west side from a point 10m south west from the south westerly projected kerbline of Rivington Grove to a point 10m north east of the north easterly projected kerbline of Rivington Grove, (ii) south east side from a point 10m south west from the south westerly projected kerbline of Jellicoe Avenue to a point 10m north east of the north easterly kerbline of Jellicoe Avenue, (iii) both sides from a point 34m north west from the north westerly projected kerbline of Lynthorpe Avenue, for 24m in a north westerly and then north easterly direction, measured along inside of the bend.
CITY OF SALFORD (DEAN ROAD AND MAGENTA AVENUE AREA, CADISHEAD AND LOWER IRLAM) (20 MPH SPEED LIMIT ZONE) ORDER 2026 20MPH SPEED LIMIT ZONE: Alfred Street, for its entire length. Dean Road, for its entire length. Magenta Avenue, for its entire length. Quill Court, for its entire length. Scribe Place, for its entire length. Sienna Close, for its entire length. A copy of the proposed Order, the Statement of Reasons, and a plan showing the proposals can be requested by emailing phlegal@ manchester.gov.uk or examined in person at Swinton Gateway, 100 Chorley Road, Swinton, M27 6BP, Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm.
