What is happening?

BIRMINGHAM CITY COUNCIL
(COLESHILL STREET, SUTTON TRINITY) (TRAFFIC REGULATION) ORDER 2026

NOTICE is hereby given that the above named Council have made an Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 4(2), 32, 35, 45, 46, 49, 53, 101 and 102 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) and of all other enabling powers the effect of which will be as follows:

1. To introduce a No Waiting at any time restriction on a length of COLESHILL STREET;

2. To introduce a No Waiting 8am to Midnight restriction on a length of COLESHILL STREET;

3. To introduce a No Waiting Mon-Sat 8am to 6pm restriction on a length of COLESHILL STREET.

The Order will come into operation on 19th June 2026.

A copy of the Order together with the plans and a statement of the Council’s reasons will be made available on request. (Contact Syed Hassan Tel: 0121 303 5157: email: syed.hassan@birmingham.gov.uk).

If any person wishes to question the validity of this Order or of any of the provisions contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Act or on the grounds that any requirements of the Act or any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to this Order may within 6 weeks from the 18th June 2026 apply to the High Court for this purpose.
