THE A120 TRUNK ROAD (PRIORY WOOD ROUNDABOUT, ESSEX) EASTBOUND ENTRY SLIP ROAD (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 202_
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that National Highways Limited(a) intends to make an Order on the A120 Trunk Road in the County of Essex to allow for third party telecommunications cabling works to be carried out in safety.
The works are expected to take place over 2 nights (9pm – 6am), starting on, or after Wednesday 8 July 2026.
The effect of the Order would be to close the A120 eastbound entry slip road at Priory Wood Roundabout. Traffic would be diverted via the A120 Thremhall Avenue Westbound to Birchanger Roundabout, then the B1256 to the A120 Dunmow West Interchange to continue their journey.
The closure (which would not apply to emergency services or works vehicles) and diversion route would be clearly indicated by traffic signs.
The Order would come into force on 6 July 2026 and may continue in force until the works detailed above have been completed, or for a maximum duration of eighteen months, whichever is the earlier.
