We intend to make this Order to prohibit any vehicle from using Scalby Road, Burniston - Mini roundabout to 40mph limit; Coastal Road, Burniston - mini roundabout to Bridge Close; Cross Lane, Scarborough - North Leas Roundabout to Burniston Road; Scalby Road, Scarborough - Coldyhill Lane to Hackness Road; Weydale Avenue, Scarborough - Northstead Manor Drive to Burniston Road; Valley Road, Scarborough - Westbourne Grove to Vernon Road; Columbus Ravine, Scarborough - Dean Road to Victoria Park Mount; Stepney Road, Scarborough - Falsgrave Road to Park Avenue; Burniston Road, Scarborough - Strensall Drive to Peasholm Gap; Scarborough Road, Seamer - Stoney Haggs Road to Scarborough Road roundabout; Dunslow Road, Eastfield - Cayton Low Road to A64; Castle Road, Whitby - Love Lane to High Stakesby; Castle Road, Whitby - High Stakesby to Westbourne Avenue; Castle Road, Whitby - Westbourne Avenue to Ewe Cote Hall Farm; Castle Road, Whitby - Ewe Cote Hall Farm to Barkers Lane; White Bridge Road, Whitby - Love Lane to Upgang Lane; Upgang Lane, Whitby – White Bridge Lane to Argyle Road; Upgang Lane, Whitby - Argyle Road - Chub Hill & Manham Hill, Eastfield - Cayton Low Road to Westway for a temporary period (subject to access to premises) between 03/07/26 & 29/07/26, due to Essential Highway Maintenance. However, the max duration of this Order is until 31/08/26. The closure period will be indicated by traffic signs & a local alternative route will be signed on site where appropriate.
