THE DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (DERBY ROAD, TUPTON)
(NO WAITING AT ANY TIME) TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2026

Notice is hereby given that Derbyshire County Council proposes to make the above named Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order will be, in respects of roads in Tupton, in the District of North East Derbyshire, is as follows:
TO PROHIBIT WAITING ON THE FOLLOWING LENGTH(S) OF ROAD(S):
No Waiting At Any Time
Derby Road Service Road, Tupton - Northern Junction with A61 Derby Road
East side
From its northern junction with A61 Derby Road in a south-easterly direction for a distance of 12 metres.
West side
From its northern junction with A61 Derby Road in a south-easterly direction for a distance of 17 metres.
A61 Derby Road, Tupton
East side
From its northern junction with Derby Road Service Road in a northerly direction for a distance of 11 metres.
Derby Road Service Road, Tupton - Southern Junction with A61 Derby Road
East side
From its southern junction with A61 Derby Road in a north-easterly direction for a distance of 16 metres.
West side
From its southern junction with A61 Derby Road in an easterly then northerly direction for a distance of 20 metres.

East side
From its southern junction with Derby Road Service Road in a northerly direction for a distance of 20 metres.
From its southern junction with Derby Road Service Road in a southerly direction for a distance of 22 metres.
Exemptions will be made for vehicles used in connection with any building operation or demolition; removal of any obstruction to traffic; carrying out of statutory powers or as part of a funeral or wedding cortege. The usual exemptions for disabled persons’ vehicles displaying a valid disabled person’s badge will also apply. A copy of the Order and documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order are available for inspection at the County Council’s principal offices known as County Hall on Smedley Street in Matlock, at Clay Cross Library, Kenning Park, Holmgate Road, Clay Cross S45 9PH, during opening hours and on request by emailing place.permanentTRO

All objections and other representations to the proposal must (a) be made in writing (b) state the grounds on which they are made (c) provide a name and address for contact purposes (d) be sent to the Executive Director – Place, Derbyshire County Council, County Hall, Matlock DE4 3AG (For attention of the TRO Manager quoting reference Z3462) or email place.permanentTRO
