What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
BASLOW ROAD, HOLYMOORSIDE
WHEN: 06 July to 31 July 2026 (20:00 to 06:00 nightly - clear at all other times).
WHERE: Baslow Road, Holymoorside between Rufford Farm and Jct. Holymoor Road.
REASON: To facilitate carriageway resurfacing.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: A619, A6, A632, A619 and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
