What is happening?

TRAFFIC ORDER

On 15/06/2026, Angus Council made The Angus Council (A932 At Damside Cottages)(Temporary Prohibition of Driving and Waiting) Order 2026, under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, so that carriageway and drainage work may be undertaken. The Order prohibits all vehicular traffic from driving and waiting in or on A932 Forfar to Friockheim from its junction with U468 Guthrie Road eastwards to North Lodge, Middleton, a distance of 1,200 metres or thereby. The order will come into effect on 24/06/2026, continuing for a period of nine weeks. However, the maximum duration in terms of the Act is 18 months. The alternative route for vehicular traffic is via A932 to Junction with B9113 in Forfar, B9113 to Junction with A933 at Kinnel, and A933 to Junction with A932 at Friockheim. The reverse route applies. Access for pedestrians, emergency vehicles and vehicular access to properties will be maintained. Full details of the Order are available at www.angus.gov.uk/trafficorders.
