Somerset - Temporary Road Closure Due To Carriageway Reinstatement Works

Somerset Council Parish of Combe St. Nicholas Temporary Closure of Cuttifords Door

Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along: Cuttifords Door - from the junction with Crinchard, eastwards for a total distance of 325 metres. This Order will enable Hawk Construction & Utilities Limited to rectify a defective reinstatement in the carriageway on behalf of Openreach.

The Order becomes effective on 1st July 2026 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 6th July 2026 and last until 10th July 2026 between the hours of 00:00 - 23:59 for a total of 5 days.
