What is happening?
Somerset Council Parish of Combe St. Nicholas Temporary Closure of Langham
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, have made an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along: Langham - from 322 metres north-east of the junction with Chardleigh Green, eastwards for a total distance of 179 metres.
This Order will enable Kier to carry out verge repair works on behalf of Somerset Highways.
The Order becomes effective on 17th June 2026 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 22nd June 2026 and last until 3rd July 2026 between the hours of 00:00 - 23:59 for a total of 12 days.
