North Street – Temporary Road Closure Due To Frame & Cover Replacement Works

Somerset Council Parish of Halsebury Plucknett Temporary Closure of North Street

Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along: North Street - from the junction with Giffords Lane to the junction with Bramble Lane. A total distance of 53 metres.

This Order will enable Dunmore SW to replace a frame and cover on behalf of Openreach.

The Order becomes effective on 1st July 2026 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 9th July 2026 and last until 10th July 2026 between the hours of 09:30 - 15:30 for a total of 2 days.
