Cleggs Lane And Armitage Avenue - Prohibition Of Waiting At Any Time
What is happening?
Salford City Council proposes to make the CITY OF SALFORD (CLEGGS LANE AND ARMITAGE AVENUE) (PROHIBITION OF WAITING AND AMENDMENT) ORDER 2026 under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order will be to introduce the following: NO WAITING AT ANY TIME: Armitage Avenue,
(i) north west side, from the south westerly kerbline of Manchester Road West for 60m south westerly,
(ii) south west side, from the south westerly kerbline of Manchester Road East for 50m in a south westerly direction. Cleggs Lane,
(i) west side, from the north easterly kerbline of Manchester Road West north easterly for 102m,
(ii) east side, from the north easterly kerbline of Manchester Road East north easterly for 106m. An existing Order will be amended to be consistent with the proposals.
A copy of the proposed Order, the Statement of Reasons, and a plan showing the proposals can be requested by emailing phlegal@manchester.gov.uk or examined in person at Swinton Gateway, 100 Chorley Road, Swinton, M27 6BP, Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm.
