What is happening?
CENTRAL BEDFORDSHIRE COUNCIL PROPOSES TO
INTRODUCE A DISABLED PARKING BAY ON
GEORGE STREET, WOBURN
Reason for proposal: The disabled parking space would provide a dedicated place for blue badge holders to park.
Effect of the Order:
To introduce Parking for Disabled badge holders only on the following length of road in Woburn:-
1. George Street, south-west side, from a point in line with the north-western flank wall of No. 30 George Street (where the marked bays begin) and extending in a south-easterly direction covering an area approximately 6.6 metres in length and 2.2 metres in width. The bay will be marked partly on the footway and partly on the carriageway.

Comments should be sent by e-mail to highways.consultation@centralbedfordshire. gov.uk by 09 July 2026. Any objections must state the grounds on which they are made.
