The Scottish Borders Council (D104/5 Cleughhead, Duns) (Temporary Closing) Order 2026 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 25 June 2026 and is expected to remain in effect for a period of one day between the hours of 08:00 and 17:00. The Order is required for BT Pole replacement works.
When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along the D104/5 at Cleughhead, Duns.
The alternative route for northbound traffic is via the D104/5, A697, B6460, D106/5 and D104/5 to the point of closure, for southbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing.

(A698 HIGH STREET, COLDSTREAM) (TEMPORARY NO WAITING) ORDER 2026
The Scottish Borders Council (A698 High Street, Coldstream) (Temporary No Waiting) Order 2026 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 22 June 2026 and is expected to remain in effect until 3 July 2026 between the hours of 09:00 and 16:00 each day. The Order is required for SGN gas works.
When the Order comes into effect no person shall permit any vehicle to wait or to be parked along both sides of the A698 High Street, Coldstream from junction with Court House Place to Leet Bridge.
