NOTICE is given that Cambridgeshire County Council intends after 7 days, to make an Order pursuant to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, the effect of which:

High Street, Toseland - Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2026-10432
Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along High Street, Toseland as lies between No.50 & Top Farm.
The alternative route for vehicles is via Toseland Rd, Toseland; Toseland Rd, Great Paxton; B1043; Graveley Rd, Offord Darcy; Offord Rd, Graveley; Toseland Rd; Graveley Rd, Toseland & vice versa.

The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate electrical maintenance works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 13/7/26 & continue until these works have finished or on the 12/1/28 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 13/7 & 17/7/26.

St Peters Road, Huntingdon Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2026-20175
Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along St Peters Road, Huntingdon as lies between B1044 and Kings Ripton Road (rolling closure).
The alternative route for vehicles is via B1044; A141; St Peters Rd and vice versa.

The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate water air valve maintenance and associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway and it will come into operation on 4/7/26 and continue until these works have finished or on the 3/1/28 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out 4/7/26.

The Avenue (C100), Leighton Bromswold Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic –Order 2026-20300
Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along The Avenue (C100), Leighton Bromswold as lies between Sheep Street & Staunch Hill.
The alternative route for vehicles is via Staunch Hill; A14; Belton’s Hill; Leighton Rd; Barham Rd; Sheep St & vice versa.

The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate telecommunication pole replacement & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 22/7/26 & continue until these works have finished or on the 21/1/28 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 22/7 & 23/7/26.

Bramble End, Sawtry Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2026-20566
Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Bramble End, Sawtry as lies between Nos. 3 & 12.
The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate telecommunications & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 15/7/26 & continue until these works have finished or on the 14/1/28 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 09:00hrs & 16:00hrs 15/7 to 17/7/26.

Hamerton Road, Alconbury Weston Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2026-20571
Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Hamerton Road, Alconbury Weston as lies between Spires End & Alconbury Weston Footpath 2.
The alternative route for vehicles is via Hamerton Rd; North Rd C103; Buckworth Rd C103; Buckworth Rd; Alconbury Weston Rd, Buckworth; Hamerton Rd C106; Buckden Rd, Hamerton; Leighton Rd; Main St; Alconbury Rd; Hamerton Rd, Upton & vice versa.

The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate sewer connection & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 24/7/26 & continue until these works have finished or on the 23/1/28 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 24/7 & 31/7/26.

Church Road, Catworth Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2026-20573
Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Church Road, Catworth as lies between The Old School House and B660.
The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate telecommunications and associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway and it will come into operation on 8/7/26 and continue until these works have finished or on the 7/1/28 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 09:30hrs and 15:30hrs 8/7 to 9/7/26.

Middlefield Road, Sawtry Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2026-20575
Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Middlefield Road, Sawtry as lies between The Briars & Rockingham Road.
The alternative route for vehicles is via Rockingham Rd; Green End Rd; Middlefield Rd & vice versa.

The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate telecommunications & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 27/7/26 & continue until these works have finished or on the 26/1/28 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 09:30hrs & 15:30hrs 27/7 to 31/7/26.

Main Street, Upton Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2026-20593
Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Main Street, Upton as lies between Pig Market End & Green Lane.
The alternative route for vehicles is via Main St; Nora Wood Way; Alconbury Hill, Alconbury Weston; Vinegar Hill; Hamerton Rd; Hamerton Rd, Upton; Upton Hill & vice versa.

The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate communication pipe repair & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 13/6/26 & continue until these works have finished or on the 12/1/28 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 13/7 & 17/7/26.

Edward Road, Eynesbury Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2026-20600
Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Edward Road, Eynesbury as lies between number 23 & Bishops Road.
The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate telecommunications & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 14/7/26 & continue until these works have finished or on the 13/1/28 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 08:00hrs & 18:00hrs 14/7 to 15/7/26.

Pidley Road, Somersham Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2026-20615
Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Pidley Road, Somersham as lies between The Orchard Bungalow & The Windmill.
The alternative route for vehicles is via B1086; B1040 & vice versa.

The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate installation of ducting & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 7/7/26 & continue until these works have finished or on the 6/1/28 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 7/7 & 9/7/26.

Somersham Road, Pidley Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2026-20617
Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Somersham Road, Pidley as lies between South View & Park Farm.
The alternative route for vehicles is via B1040; B1086; B1089 & vice versa.

The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate installation of ducting & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 6/7/26 & continue until these works have finished or on the 5/1/28 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 6/7 & 8/7/26.

Warboys Road, Pidley Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2026-20624
Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Warboys Road, Pidley as lies between All Saints Church & Mooi House.
The alternative route for vehicles is via B1040; A141; B1090; A1123; Somersham Rd; B1040 & vice versa.

The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate installation of ducting & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 1/7/26 & continue until these works have finished or on the 31/12/28 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 1/7 & 7/7/26.

Keyston Road, Covington Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2026-20625
Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Keyston Road, Covington as lies between Covington Road and The Pentelows.
The alternative route for vehicles is via Keyston Rd, Covington; B645; Church Rd, Hargrave; Church St; Raunds Rd; Hargrave Rd, Raunds; B663; Covington Rd, Keyston; Bythorn Rd, Covington and vice versa.

The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate telecommunications and associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway and it will come into operation on 27/7/26 and continue until these works have finished or on the 26/8/28 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 09:00hrs and 17:00hrs 27/7 to 28/7/26.

Middlefield Road, Sawtry Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2026-20633
Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Middlefield Road, Sawtry as lies between Lauren Close & Windsor Road.
The alternative route for vehicles is via Green End Rd; Rockingham Rd; Middlefield Rd & vice versa.

The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate installation of ducting & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 20/7/26 & continue until these works have finished or on the 19/1/28 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 20/7 & 21/7/26.

Keyston Road & Bythorn Road, Covington Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2026-20634
Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Keyston Road & Bythorn Road, Covington as lies between Tilbrook Grange Road & Covington Footpath 10.
The alternative route for vehicles is via B645; Church Rd; Church St; Raunds Rd; Hargrave Rd; B663; Covington Rd, Keyston; Mickle Hill; Covington Rd; Bythorn Rd, Covington & vice versa.

The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate overhead cabling & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 27/7/26 & continue until these works have finished or on the 26/1/28 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 09:30hrs & 15:30hrs on 27/7/26.

Station Lane, Offord Cluny Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2026-20639
Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Station Lane, Offord Cluny as lies between points 20m either side of the railway level crossing situated there as measured from its gates or barriers.
The alternative route for vehicles is via Station Ln; B1043; Priory Hill Rd; Hawkesden Rd, St Neots; Station Rd; Cromwell Rd; B1046; B1043; A428; A1; Mill Rd, Buckden & vice versa.

The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate rail maintenance & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 5/7/26 & continue until these works have finished or on the 4/1/28 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 02:15am & 05:55am on 5/7/26.

Low Road, Fenstanton Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2026-20645
Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Low Road, Fenstanton as lies between 1a & Fenstanton Footpath 2.
The alternative route for vehicles is via A1096; A1307 & vice versa.

The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate gas maintenance & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 27/7/26 & continue until these works have finished or on the 26/1/28 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 27/7 & 31/7/26.

Stukeley Bypass E/Bound & W/Bound, The Stukeleys Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2026-20648
Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Stukeley Bypass E/Bound & W/Bound, The Stukeleys as lies underneath the Interchange Bridge.
The alternative route for vehicles is via Stukeley Bypass W/Bound & E/Bound slip roads.

The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate bridge protection & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 20/7/26 & continue until these works have finished or on the 19/1/28 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 20/7 & 20/9/26.

High Street, Hail Weston Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2026-20654
Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along High Street, Hail Weston as lies between St Nicholas’s Church and Ford End.
The alternative route for vehicles is via High St; B645 and vice versa.

The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate stop tap replacement and associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway and it will come into operation on 1/7/26 and continue until these works have finished or on the 31/12/17 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 1/7 and 3/7/26.

Parkhall Road, Somersham Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2026-20656
Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Parkhall Rd, Somersham as lies between B1086 and The Trundle.
The alternative route for vehicles is via Parkhall Rd, Somersham; Short Drove; Long Drove; B1050; B1086 and vice versa.

The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate drainage investigations, construction and associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway and it will come into operation on 27/7/26 and continue until these works have finished or on the 26/1/28 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 07:30hrs and 17:00hrs 27/7 and 28/8/26.

Herne Road, Ramsey St Marys Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2026-20664
Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Herne Road, Ramsey St Marys as lies between No.526 & Oilmills Road.
The alternative route for vehicles is via Oilmills Rd; Bodsey Roll Rd; Muchwood Ln; Stocking Fen Rd; B1040 & vice versa.

The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate mains maintenance & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 20/7/26 & continue until these works have finished or on the 19/1/28 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 20/7 & 1/9/26.

Tinkers Lane, Sawtry Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2026-20677
Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Tinkers Ln, Sawtry as lies at the junction with Fen Ln.
The alternative route for vehicles is via High St.

The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate new water connection & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 1/7/26 & continue until these works have finished or on the 31/12/27 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 1/7 & 3/7/26.

Access will be maintained to properties affected by these orders. The Order shall not apply to any person lawfully engaged in connection with any works for which these are made, any member of the Police Force, Fire & Rescue Service, Ambulance Service, a vehicle being used by Special Forces during the execution of their duties or to any person acting with the permission or upon the direction of a Police Officer in uniform.
