TEMPORARY CLOSURE 405853 SHORTWOOD ROAD, WALKLEY WOOD

(NAILSWORTH TOWN) STROUD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 405853 Shortwood Road, Walkley Wood from its junction with Ragnal Lane to outside the property known as ‘Glenmore’ for a distance of approximately 200 metres.

The reason for the said closure is for carriageway works.

The said road is expected to be closed from 09:30hrs on 23rd June 2026 until 15:30hrs on 24th June 2026 only or until the said works have been completed. For further information, please contact Gloucestershire Highways on 08000 514 514 or visit www.gloucestershire.gov.uk.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE C225 ROAD FROM ARLINGHAM TO

THE REDDINGS LODGE (ARLINGHAM PARISH) STROUD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the C225 Road from Arlingham to The Reddings Lodge from outside the property known as ‘Colthill Cottage’ to its junction with Overton Lane for a distance of approximately 350 metres.

The reason for the said closure is for works by Severn Trent Water.

The reason for the said closure is for electricity cabling works.

The said road is expected to be closed from 6th July 2026 until 31st July 2026 only or until the said works have been completed.

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the B4066 Selsey Hill from its junction with Bell Lane to its junction with The Grove for a distance of approximately 400 metres.

The reason for the said closure is for gas pipe installation works.

The said road is expected to be closed from 4th July 2026 until 5th July 2026 only. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE AND RESTRICTION 401293 DUKE OF YORK PUBLIC HOUSE TO ROSEBERRY TERRACE (CHALFORD PARISH) STROUD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close and restrict part of the 401293 Duke of York Public House to Roseberry Terrace from its junction with Woodview to its junction with South View for a distance of approximately 85 metres.

The reason for the said closure and restriction is to locate and clear of blockages in the carriageway. There will be no waiting, stopping, or loading permitted throughout the duration of the said works.

The said road is expected to be closed and restricted from 8th July 2026 until 10th July 2026 only. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the A46 Bath Road, from its junction with Dudbridge Hill to its junction with Rodborough Hill for a distance of approximately 700 metres.

The reason for the said closure is for works on behalf of Wales & West Utilities.

The said road is expected to be closed from 6th July 2026 until 28th August 2026 only. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.
