What is happening?
ELMBRIDGE BOROUGH COUNCIL (OFF-STREET PARKING PLACES) ORDER 2026
Notice is hereby given that on 18 June 2026 Elmbridge Borough Council made the above Order (“the Order”) under its powers contained in the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended and under the Traffic Management Act 2004 as amended, and all other enabling powers. This Notice is published in accordance with the Local Authorities’ Traffic Orders (Procedure) (England and Wales) Regulations 1996. This Order relates to existing off-street parking places where controls have been in place for several years.
The Order revokes the Elmbridge Borough Council (Off- Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2019 and brings into effect the parking conditions and variations as proposed. Further details can be found on the Council’s website in a report considered and agreed by its Cabinet at its meeting of 19 May 2026.
Copies of the new Order with the relevant Schedules attached, Statement of Reasons, the revokes 2019 Order as well as the Notice of Proposal and this Notice of Making will remain available for inspection at the Council office, at the Civic Centre, High Street, Esher, Surrey, KT10 9SD
