What is happening?

LONDON BOROUGH OF SOUTHWARK 

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14(1) (BRAYARDS ROAD) (TEMPORARY PARKING, WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTIONS) 

1. The Council of the London Borough of Southwark hereby gives notice that to enable utility works by Thames Water, it intends to make an order, the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit all vehicles from parking, waiting or loading on a section Brayards Road.

2. Whilst the works are in progress, or whilst cones, barriers or yellow lines are in place, no person shall cause any vehicle to park, wait, load or unload at any time on Brayards Road, between the junction with Gordon Road and number 57 Brayards Road, both sides of carriageway.

3. Vehicles will be relocated if parked in the restricted location described in point 2 whilst works are ongoing.

4. The restrictions will not apply to any vehicle being used in connection with the said works, or for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes or anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform.

5. Parking restrictions will be in place between the 13th and 20th of July 2026 or when the associated permits are in place.  This order remains valid for 18 months from the 25th of June 2026.
