Winchfield - Temporary Road Closures Due To Renewal Of Frame & Cover Works

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURES -TAPLIN'S FARM LANE SPUR & THE HURST, WINCHFIELD, HART

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.

ROADS TO BE CLOSED:

1. Taplin's Farm Lane Spur between its junction with Taplin's Farm Lane and its junction with The Hurst.

2. The Hurst between its junction with Taplin's Farm Lane and a point approximately 60 Metres East of said junction.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: The Hurst, Pale Lane, The Hurst

DURATION OF ORDER: from 30th June 2026 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 3 days, working between the hours 09:00 - 16:00).

The road closures have been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for South East Water to carry out renewal of frame and cover in verge.

South East Water will provide reasonable facilities to allow access to adjacent premises and provide notice to those directly affected while the work is being carried out.
