NOTICE is given that Cambridgeshire County Council intends after 7 days, to make an Order pursuant to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, the effect of which: Rampton Road C186, Willingham


Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic – Order 2026-20013

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Rampton Road (C186), Willingham as lies between Black Pit Drove & Pyrethrum Way. 

The alternative route for vehicles is via Rampton Rd C186, Willingham; High St, Rampton; The Grn; Church End; Rampton Rd, Cottenham; Oakington Rd; Oakington Rd, Westwick; Station Rd, Oakington; Water Ln; Dry Drayton Rd; A1307; B1050; Church St, Willingham & vice versa.

The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate gas main replacement & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 20/7/26 & continue until these works have finished or on the 19/1/28 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 20/7 & 28/8/26. Hills Road A1307, Cambridge

Temporary Suspension of Bus Lane – Order 2026-20209

Will be to temporarily suspend the bus lane as lies between Coronation Street & Russell Street. During the period this Order remains in force Cambridgeshire County Council (Various Streets, Cambridge), (Bus Lanes) Order 2024; Roads & parts of roads on which any vehicle other than a pedal cycle, electric scooter, bus, hackney carriage or private hire vehicle is prohibited between the hours of 7am & 7pm on all days. Hills Road on the west side from its junction with Bateman Street to a point 30 metres south-east of its junction with Union Road is hereby suspended.

The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate water meter replacement & associated works which are being carried out on or near the bus lane & it will come into operation on 10/7/26 & continue until these works have finished or on the 9/1/28 whichever is the earlier. This Order shall be in force when the signs are in place at each end of the above section of road whilst works taking place on Hills Road A1307, Cambridge are in progress. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 10/7 & 17/7/26.

Rampton Road, Longstanton
Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic – Order 2026-20287

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Rampton Road, Longstanton as lies between Long Lane & Rampton Drift. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate water connection & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 20/7/26 & continue until these works have finished or on the 19/1/28 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 20/7 & 24/7/26.

High Ditch Road, Fen Ditton
Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic – Order 2026-20294

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along High Ditch Road, Fen Ditton as lies between No.46 & The Black House. The alternative route for vehicles is via A1303; B1047; High Ditch Rd & vice versa. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate telecommunications overhead connection & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 2/7/26 & continue until these works have finished or on the 1/1/28 whichever is the earlier. Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Latimer Close, Cambridge as lies between No.16 & Peverel Road. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate telecommunications pole replacement & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 21/7/26 & continue until these works have finished or on the 20/8/28 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 21/7 & 22/7/26.

Teversham Road, Fulbourn
Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic – Order 2026-20303

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Teversham Road, Fulbourn as lies between Colbrook & Fernleigh Farm. The alternative route for vehicles is via Hinton Rd; Cambridge Rd; Fulbourn Rd; High St; Teversham Drift; Cherry Hinton Rd; Airport Way; Church Rd; High St & vice versa. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate telecoms pole replacement & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 22/7/26 & continue until these works have finished or on the 21/1/28 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 22/7 & 23/7/26.

Hills Road, Cambridge
Temporary Suspension of Cycle Lane – Order 2026-20514

Will be to temporarily suspend the cycle lane as lies between Blinco Grove & Cavendish Avenue. During the period this Order remains in force The City of Cambridge Area G (Consolidation) Order 1993 Schedule 23 – Mandatory with flow cycle lanes Hills Road – On its east side from a point 57 metres north of its junction with Elsworth Place to a point 110 metres north of its junction with Queen Edith’s Way. Hills Road – On its west side from its junction with Long Road to a point 38 metres north of its junction with Purbeck Road is hereby suspended. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate telecommunications maintenance & associated works which are being carried out on or near the cycle lane & it will come into operation on 20/7/26 & continue until these works have finished or on the 19/1/28 whichever is the earlier. This Order shall be in force when the signs are in place at each end of the above section of road whilst works taking place on Hills Road, Cambridge are in progress. Fulbourn Road, Cambridge
Temporary Suspension of Cycle Lane – Order 2026-20516

Will be to temporarily suspend the cycle lane as lies between No.15 & High Street (Fulbourn Road) & High Street to 100m West (Cherry Hinton Road). During the period this Order remains in force The City of Cambridge Area E (Consolidation) Order 1993 Schedule 23 Part 2 Mandatory with flow cycle lanes High Street, Cherry Hinton on its west side from a point 50 metres north of Cherry Hinton Road to a point 17 metres south of the centreline of Mill End Road. High Street, Cherry Hinton on its east side from a point 8 metres north of the centreline of Gladstone Way to a point 16 metres south of the centreline of Mill End Road. High Street, Cherry Hinton on its west side from a point 28 metres of the centreline of Mill End Road to a point 14 metres south of the centreline of Colville Road. High Street, Cherry Hinton on its east side from a point 28 metres of the centreline of Mill End Road to a point 21 metres south of the centreline of Colville Road is hereby suspended.

The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate telecommunications maintenance & associated works which are being carried out on or near the cycle lane & it will come into operation on 26/7/26 & continue until these works have finished or on the 25/1/28 whichever is the earlier. This Order shall be in force when the signs are in place at each end of the above section of road whilst works taking place on Fulbourn Road, Cambridge are in progress. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out on 26/7/26.

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Willow Place, Cambridge as lies between Fair Street & Footpath From Salmon Lane to Willow Place. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate telecommunications & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 13/7/26 & continue until these works have finished or on the 12/1/28 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 13/7 & 15/7/26.

Radegund Road, Cambridge
Temporary Suspension of Cycle Lane – Order 2026-20526

Will be to temporarily suspend the cycle lane as lies between Nos. 48 & 72. During the period this Order remains in force The City of Cambridge Area E (Consolidation) Order 1993 (Amendment No 49) Order 2002 Schedule 23 Part 1 between Suez Road & A1134 is hereby suspended. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate install sensor & associated works which are being carried out on or near the cycle lane & it will come into operation on 1/7/26 & continue until these works have finished or on the 31/12/27 whichever is the earlier. This Order shall be in force when the signs are in place at each end of the above section of road whilst works taking place on Radegund Road, Cambridge are in progress. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 19:00hrs & 23:59hrs 1/7/26.

Perne Road (A1134), Cambridge
Temporary Suspension of Cycle Lane – Order 2026-20527

Will be to temporarily suspend the cycle lane as lies between Nos.153 & 131. During the period this Order remains in force The City of Cambridge Area E (Consolidation) Order 1993, Schedule 23 Cycle lane Part 2 Mandatory with-flow cycle lane. Perne Road On both sides of the carriageway from its junction with Brookfields to its junction with Cherry Hinton Road is hereby suspended. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate telecoms pole replacement & associated works which are being carried out on or near the cycle lane & it will come into operation on 19/7/26 & continue until these works have finished or on the 18/1/28 whichever is the earlier. This Order shall be in force when the signs are in place at each end of the above section of road whilst works taking place on Perne Road (A1134), Cambridge are in progress. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 09:30 & 15:30 on 19/7/26.

Kings Hedges Road, Cambridge
Temporary Suspension of Cycle Lane – Order 2026-20553

Will be to temporarily suspend the cycle lane as lies between Garry Drive & Kirkwood Road. During the period this Order remains in force The City of Cambridge Area B (Consolidation) Order 1993 as amended by The City of Cambridge Area B (Consolidation) Order 1993 (Amendment No. 32) Order 2003; Schedule 23 Cycle lane: Part 2 mandatory with flow cycle lane Kings Hedges Road on its northeast side from its junction with Cambridge Regional College entrance to a point 44 metres northwest of the centreline of its junction with Milton Road is hereby suspended. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate telecommunications & associated works which are being carried out on or near the cycle lane & it will come into operation on 5/7/26 & continue until these works have finished or on the 4/1/28 whichever is the earlier. This Order shall be in force when the signs are in place at each end of the above section of road whilst works taking place on Kings Hedges Road, Cambridge are in progress. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 09:30hrs & 15:30hrs 5/7/26.

It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 22/7 & 23/7/26.

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along various roads, as set out in Schedule 1 below. Nothing in this Order shall prevent access & egress from premises or land adjacent to the highway mentioned in Schedule 1. The Order is necessary for safety reasons to facilitate carriageway resurfacing, lining & associated works. The proposed Order will come into operation on 1/7/26 & will continue until these works have finished or on the 31/12/27 whichever is the earlier.
