The Council intends to make an order, operative from 7 July 2026 for 2 days approx, the effect of which will be to prohibit all traffic from proceeding Chorley Street from Chorley Old Rd to the Access Road (Chorley St - St Georges Rd) to allow electricity works to take place. Alternate route for traffic will be St Georges Road, Moor Lane, White Lion Brow. The Order will end after 18 months or on completion of the works whichever first occurs.
