O 29/06/2026 i wahardd unrhyw gerbyd rhag defnyddio’r darn hwnnw o Lôn Wesley, Bwlchgwyn rhwng y gyffordd â’r A525 Ffordd Rhuthun a’r gyffordd â Stryt Maelor am 360m i alluogi IES Utilities ar ran Scottish Power i uwchraddio a chysylltu’r cyflenwad trydan uwchben y lôn gerbydau a’r troedffyrdd. Y llwybr amgen ar gyfer cerbydau a effeithir gan y cau yw trwy’r A525 Ffordd Rhuthun a Stryt Maelor a bydd arwyddion priodol yn cael eu gosod. Bydd mynediad i gerddwyr yn cael ei gynnal trwy gydol y cyfnod y mae’r ffordd ar gau. Disgwylir i’r gwaharddiad bara am hyd at 5 diwrnod, neu nes cwblhau’r gwaith os bydd hynny’n gynt, a gallai bara hyd at 18 mis.

Wrexham County Borough Council intends to make a TEMPORARY (PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

effective from 29/06/2026 prohibiting any vehicle from using that length of Wesley Road, Bwlchgwyn between its junction with A525 Ruthin Road and its junction with Stryt Maelor for a distance of 360m to enable IES Utilities on behalf of Scottish Power to upgrade and connect the overhead electricity supply over the carriageway and footways. The alternative route for vehicles affected by the closure is via A525 Ruthin Road and Stryt Maelor, which will be signposted accordingly. Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the period of closure. The prohibition is expected to last for 5 days, or until completion of the works if earlier, with a maximum duration of 18 months.
