What is happening?

SECTION 14 THE COUNTY OF DEVON (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION) (FORK CROSS TO DORSLEY BARTON & HAZARD CROSS TO FORK CROSS ALONG ZC794, HARBERTON)
(NO. 2) ORDER 2026 TEMPORARY SPEED LIMITS

NOTICE is hereby given that Devon County Council intends to make the above titled order.
From 20/7/26 for a maximum of 18 months.
Anticipated Finish 7/8/26.
No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed at a speed greater than 10 miles per hour on the length of road below.
Roads affected: FORK CROSS TO DORSLEY BARTON & HAZARD CROSS TO FORK CROSS ALONG ZC794, HARBERTON.
The alternative, signed, route for vehicles will be via - 10MPH RESTRICTION - FORK CROSS TO DORSLEY BARTON - FROM A POINT 50M EAST OF FORK CROSS & HEADING IN AN EASTERLY DIRECTION FOR 450M.
40MPH RESTRICTION - HAZARD CROSS TO FORK CROSS ALONG ZC794 - FROM A POINT 50M EAST OF FORK CROSS & HEADING IN A WESTERLY DIRECTION FOR 250M. 40MPH RESTRICTION - FORK CROSS TO DORSLEY
BARTON - FROM A POINT 500M EAST OF FORK CROSS & HEADING IN AN EASTERLY DIRECTION FOR 250M.
This temporary restriction is considered necessary to enable: DRAINAGE WORKS.
