Kilton Road - Temporary Road Closure Due To New Connection Works
What is happening?
Somerset Council Parish of Stringston Temporary Closure of Kilton Road
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along: Kilton Road - from the junction with Kilton Farm Lane, south-westwards for a total distance of 155 metres.
This Order will enable Wessex Water to carry out new connection works.
The Order becomes effective on 30th June 2026 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 6th July 2026 and last until 10th July 2026 between the hours of 00:00 - 23:59 for a total of 5 days.
