Somerset Council Parish of Compton Bishop Temporary Closure of Barton Road
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, have made an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along: Barton Road - from 511 metres north-east of the junction with The Paddock Approach, eastwards for a total distance of 72 metres. This Order will enable Bristol Water to replace a stop tap.
The Order becomes effective on 16th June 2026 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 22nd June 2026 and last until 23rd June 2026 between the hours of 00:00 - 23:59 for a total of 2 days.
