Biggin Lane - Temporary Road Closure To BT Pole Replacement
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE BIGGIN LANE, ASHBOURNE
WHEN: 07 July and 08 July 2026
WHERE: Biggin Lane, Ashbourne between Poplars Farm and Ashcroft.
REASON: To facilitate BT pole replacement.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Biggin Lane, Nether Lane, Hoon Well Lane, Moss Lane, Belper Road and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road.
The road will reopen as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.
Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
