What is happening?
Somerset Council Parish of Wedmore Temporary Closure of Keyton Hill
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along: Keyton Hill - from 124 metres north-west of the junction with Jacks Drove, westwards for a total distance of 174 metres. This Order will enable National Grid to carry out pole replacement works.
The Order becomes effective on 30th June 2026 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 6th July 2026 and last until 7th July 2026 between the hours of 08:00 - 16:30 for a total of 2 days.
