Mapleton Road - Temporary Road Closure To BT Pole Replacement
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE MAPLETON ROAD, MAPLETON
WHEN: 06 July and 07 July 2026 (between 09:30 and 15:30)
WHERE: Mapleton Road, Mapleton between Jct. with Yerley Hill and Jct. with Spend Lane.
REASON: To facilitate BT pole replacement
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Spend Lane, A515 Buxton Road, North Avenue, Mapleton Road and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road.
The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.
Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
