What is happening?

DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE UNNAMED ROAD, DAM WALL CARSINGTON

WHEN: 06 July to 20 September 2026 (10 days within this date range)
WHERE: Unnamed Road Dam Wall Carsington between Jct. with B5035 Knocker down and Jct. with Dog Lane Hulland Ward.
REASON: To facilitate surface dressing and associated works. Advance warning signs will be in place prior to each closure.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: B5035, Ashbourne Road, The Green Road, Cokayne Avenue, Park Road, A517 Belper Road, Gorse Lane, and vice versa. Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
