What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE DOG LANE, HULLAND WARD
WHEN: 06 July to 20 September 2026 (10 days work within this date range)
WHERE: Dog Lane, Hulland Ward between Jct. with A517 and Jct. with Brick Kiln Lane.
REASON: To facilitate surface dressing and associated works. Advance warning signs will be in place prior to each closure.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Brick Kiln Lane, Gorse Lane, A517 and vice versa. Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road.
The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished.
This may be earlier than advertised.
Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
