What is happening?
Notice is given that the order made by Bath and North East Somerset Council on 15th January 2026 will be continued in force with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport in exercise of his powers under section 15(5) of the Road Traffic
Regulation Act 1984. The order will continue in force until the necessary remedial
works have been completed or until 6 October 2026, whichever is the earlier.
The effect of which will be to continue to close the section of Public Footpath CL14/7 commencing from a junction with Greenhouse Lane at ST51966342 and proceeding in
a generally ESE direction for approx 759m to a junction with Public Footpath CL14/9 at
ST52596306.
This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the right of way: namely the applicant is carrying out solar farm construction
works.
