SECTION 14 (1) TEMPORARY PROHIBITION
OF THROUGH TRAFFIC
PART OF MOOR LANE, FULL SUTTON
Notice is hereby given that East Riding of Yorkshire
Council intends not less than seven days from the date
of this notice to make an Order, the effect of which will
be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along part
of Moor Lane, Full Sutton from Low Burtonfields access
Road commencing 13 July 2026 until 31 July 2026
to form passing places for works on part of Moor Lane,
Full Sutton.
The road closure is necessary to enable the works to
be carried out in a manner consistent with ensuring the
safety of the public.
The Order is valid for 18 months, but it is anticipated
that the works will be completed within 19 days. The
alternative route for traffic affected by the road closure
will be via Moor Lane, Moor Road, Church Road, Main
Street, Roman Road, Bridlington Road and Hatkill Lane,
Stamford Bridge CP, Full Sutton CP, Skirpenbeck CP,
Pocklington Provincial Ward, Wolds Weighton Ward.
The diversion route will be signed at the time of
closure. The road will be closed to all through
traffic but access will be maintained for residents and
emergency vehicles. Pedestrian access will not be
maintained due to no existing footways and the type of
works which will not allow access.
