TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990 – SECTION 257 AND PARAGRAPH 1 OF SCHEDULE 14
(LEEDS PUBLIC FOOTPATH NO. 207) DIVERSION ORDER 2023
On 27 March 2025 an Inspector appointed by the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs confirmed with modifications the above-named Order made under Section 257 of the Town and Country Planning Act.
The effect of the order as confirmed is to divert the public footpath commencing from a point, SE 29153 29356, at the junction with the continuation of Leeds Footpath No. 207 on Gipsy Lane, adjacent to 45 Gipsy Lane and proceeding for a distance of 338 metres to a point, SE 29481 29410, 4.0 metres to the west of it’s junction with Leeds public footpath No. 213, to a new line running from a point, SE 29154 29298, at the junction with the continuation of Leeds Footpath No. 207 on Gipsy Lane, and proceeding for a distance of 451 metres to a point, SE 29481 29410, 4.0 metres to the west of the junction of Leeds public footpath No. 207 with Leeds public footpath No. 213, as shown on the Order Map

On 6 May 2026 Leeds City Council certified that the provisions of Article 2 to the Order had been complied with and therefore in accordance with Article 3 of the Order the footpath diversion took effect on that date.
