TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2025


TAKE NOTICE that in pursuance of Section 22BB of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers The Secretary of State for Transport now grants an extension to the above Order until 19 December 2027 or until completion of the works, whichever is earlier. The original Order came into effect on 19 December 2025 because of the likelihood of danger to the public using Public Bridleway WL7/9, due to an
unsafe bridge.

The Order prohibits WALKERS AND CYCLISTS ONLY from using part of Public Bridleway WL7/9 between SS 9776 4303 and SS 9760 4319. Horse riders may continue to use the bridleway and cross the river via the ford when conditions allow.
