MAE GWEINIDOGION CYMRU yn bwriadu gwneud Gorchymyn o dan adran 14 o Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984 ymhen dim llai na 7 niwrnod i ddyddiad yr Hysbysiad hwn. Mae angen y Gorchymyn er mwyn gwneud gwaith ar gefnffordd yr A470, neu gerllaw iddi, rhwng Llanfair-ym-Muallt a Llangurig, Powys.
Effaith y Gorchymyn arfaethedig fydd gosod terfyn cyflymder dros dro o 40 mya, 30 mya neu 10 mya ar y darn o gefnffordd yr A470 rhwng ei chyffordd gylchfan â’r A483 yn Llanfair-ym-Muallt a’i chyffordd gylchfan â’r A44 yn Llangurig. Dim ond yn ystod gwaith confoi y bydd y terfyn cyflymder o 10 mya yn weithredol a ni chaniateir goddiweddyd ar yr adegau hynny.
Daw’r Gorchymyn i rym ar 11 Gorffennaf 2026. Disgwylir y bydd y cyfyngiadau a’r gwaharddiad dros dro, y bydd eu hyd a’u lled yn amrywio, yn weithredol yn ysbeidiol o 08:00 o’r gloch ar y dyddiad hwnnw am gyfnod hwyaf o 18 mis. Bydd hysbysiad am y gwaith yn cael ei arddangos cyn i unrhyw waith ddechrau.

THE A470 TRUNK ROAD (BUILTH WELLS TO LLANGURIG, POWYS) (TEMPORARY SPEED RESTRICTIONS & NO OVERTAKING) ORDER 202-
THE WELSH MINISTERS propose, in not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which is necessary to undertake works on or near the A470 trunk road between Builth Wells and Llangurig, Powys.
The effect of the proposed Order will be to impose a temporary 40 mph, 30 mph or 10 mph speed limit on the length of the A470 trunk road between its roundabout junction with the A483 at Builth Wells and its roundabout junction with the A44 at Llangurig.
The 10 mph speed limit will only apply during convoy working and no overtaking will be permitted during these times.
The Order will come into force on 11 July 2026. The temporary restrictions and prohibition, whose extent will vary, are expected to operate intermittently from 08:00 hours on that date for a maximum duration of 18 months. Notice of all works will be displayed before they start.
