HEYWOOD AND BURSTON AND SHIMPLING – C472 Durbidges Hill from its junction with C472 Burston Road for 400m northwards to facilitate overhead cabling works between 09:30 and 15:00 on 16th June 2026 (may continue until 28th July 2026). Alternative route is via: Burston Road, Durbidges Hill, Diss Road, Mill Road, Mill Green, Hall Road, Back Heywood Road, The Heywood (Diss, Heywood, Burston and Shimpling). The works promoter is BT.
HOCKERING – 3R0446 Hockering Footpath 1 from its joining with C173 Heath Road for 10m westwards to facilitate linkbox replacement works from 17th to 19th June 2026 (may continue until 31st July 2026). KIRBY CANE AND ELLINGHAM – A) C392 School Road from 25m east of its junction with C392 Loddon Road for 50m westwards and B) C392 Loddon Road from 25m north of its junction with C392 School Road for 50m southwards to facilitate water mains fitting and sluice valve repair works from 17th to 19th June 2026 (may continue until 31st July 2026). Alternative route is via: Wash Lane, A146 Beccles Road/Norwich Road, A143 Yarmouth Road/Kirby Cane Bypass, Wardley Hill Road (Stockton, Ellingham, Hales, Gillingham, Kirby Cane). MATTISHALL – C200 Dereham Road from 160m east of its junction with U35238 Parkers Road for 70m eastwards to facilitate duct installation works from 15th to 17th June 2026 (may continue until 29th July 2026). NORTH TUDDENHAM – U35071 Elsing Road from its junction with C489 Main Road to its junction with U35072 Hall Lane to facilitate new service connection works between 09:30 and 15:30 on 18th June 2026 (may continue until 30th July 2026). SAXLINGHAM NETHERGATE – Saxlingham Nethergate RB16 from its junction with Saxlingham Nethergate RB24 for 350m northwards to facilitate construction works for a natural flood management project from 5th to 14th June 2026 (previously 1st to 5th June 2026, may continue until 13th July 2026). Unless otherwise stated, the effect of these Orders will be to prohibit the use by traffic of the named road(s)/footpath(s). In the event of the start date being delayed the new start date will be displayed on site in advance. Where an Order is for a reason other than works it is because of the likelihood of danger to the public or of serious damage to the road/footpath. Anticipated dates are stated but the Orders may continue until the end date where necessary or required. The Orders are revoked on the end date or on the actual date of removal of the prohibition/restriction where earlier without further notice. If necessary, the restrictions can have a maximum duration of 18 months or 6 months in respect of footpaths, cycle paths, bridleways, restricted byways, and byways open to all traffic (BOAT).
Penalty: £1000 maximum fine on conviction and/or endorsement for contravention.
