What is happening?

BUCKINGHAMSHIRE COUNCIL

The Council has made The Buckinghamshire Council (Public Footpath No. 6/1, Parish of Oakley) (Temporary Footpath Closure) Order 2026 under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which will temporarily prohibit any person from proceeding, except for access, in that length of Public Footpath commencing at the junction of OAK FP 6/1 & b4011 and continues south for the entire length of OAK/6/1. There is no alternative route. The closure is required for public safety due to a failed bridge structure. The Order will come into operation on 10 June 2026, as signed, with a maximum duration of 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the soonest.
