TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDERS 2026

Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984

Norfolk County Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, hereby give notice that:

i) THEY PROPOSE TO MAKE Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders in respect of the following roads:

BLOFIELD

Blofield Corner Road from its junction with Park Lane for 70m north-westwards to facilitate pole testing works between 09:30 and 15:30 on 24th June 2026 (may continue until 5th August 2026).

Alternative route is via: Blofield Corner Road, Dyes Road, Woodbastwick Road.

DRAYTON

A) Long Dale from its junction with Winners Walk for 40m south-westwards and

B) Long Dale Footway (eastern side of the carriageway) from the junction of Long Dale with Winners Walk for 40m south-westwards

LUDHAM – U19062 Pound Road (known locally as Pound Lane) from its junction with A1062 Norwich Road for 10m northwards to facilitate link box replacement works from 15th to 19th June 2026 (may continue until 31st July 2026). NORTH WALSHAM – U10301 Bradfield Road from its junction with A149 Cromer Road to its junction with U10303 Kendall Close to facilitate gas replacement works from 18th June to 8th July 2026 (may continue until 19th August 2026). Alternative route is via: A149 Cromer Road, B1145 North Walsham Bypass, Folgate Road, Lyngate Road, Bradfield Road. The works promoter is Cadent.

SALHOUSE – U57067 Thieves Lane from its junction with C285 Lower Street to its junction with U57500 Ward Road to facilitate carriageway patching works from 15th to 16th June 2026 (may continue until 28th July 2026). SPROWSTON – A) C256 Blue Boar Lane from its junction with A1151 Wroxham Road Roundabout for 96m southwards (southbound carriageway only) and B) C256 Blue Boar Lane from its junction with A1151 Wroxham Road Roundabout for 96m southwards to facilitate HV electricity supply installation works. Road A will be temporarily closed (except for pedestrian access), and Road B shall be temporarily subject to the imposition of a one-way system (northbound) and the effect of this is that vehicles will only be allowed to travel in a northwards direction from 15th to 27th June 2026 (may continue until 8th August 2026).
