CITY OF WESTMINSTER
LONGMOORE STREET AND UPPER TACHBROOK STREET THE CITY OF WESTMINSTER (A ZONE) (AMENDMENT NO. *) ORDER 202*

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Westminster City Council proposes to make the above Order under sections 6, 45, 46, 49, 63 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

2. The general effect of the Order would be to:

(a) introduce a “Blue Badge” disabled persons’ parking bay on the north-east side of Upper Tachbrook Street, opposite Nos. 24 and 26, replacing a pay-by-phone parking bay (5.5 metres); and

(b) introduce a pay-by-phone parking bay on the north-west side of Longmoore Street, opposite Nos. 1 to 5, replacing a “Blue Badge” disabled persons’ parking bay (5 metres).

3. The proposed Order and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order are available for inspection until six weeks have elapsed from the date on which either the Order is made or the Council decides not to make the Order at https://westminstertransportationservices.co.uk/ notices and, in person by appointment only, at Westminster City Hall, 64 Victoria Street, London, SW1E 6QP, between 9.00 a.m. and 5.00 p.m. on Mondays to Fridays (except bank / public holidays). 4. If you should require paper copies of the consultation documents, any reasonable adjustment to participate in the consultation, or further information, please contact the Council’s agents, WSP, by telephone on 0161 200 5002 or by email at tmo.westminster@wsp.com.

5. Any objections or other representations about the proposals should be sent in writing to the Council’s agents, WSP Traffic Order Team, 3rd Floor, Westferry House, 11 Westferry Circus, London, E14 4HD, or by email to tmo.westminster@wsp.com quoting reference 8245/JW, by 8th July 2026. All objections must specify the grounds on which they are made.
