On 16 June 2026 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the Road Traffic (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (East Ayrshire Council) Designation Order 2012 and the Road Traffic Act 1991 and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order to allow Scottish Power Works

No Waiting At Any Time - Lintmill Road, Muir Drive, Darvel

Lintmill Road - From outside no.22 to no.23 Lintmill Road (67m - both sides of carriageway)

Muir Drive - From outside no.84 Muir Drive to junction with Lintmill Road (52m - both sides of carriageway)

The Order commences on 29 June 2026 and has a maximum duration of 18 months or until the works are completed, whichever is earlier. The works are expected to commence from 29 June 2026 at 08:00 with the restrictions remaining in place until 10 July 2026 at 17:00. Days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions but the Order will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed.

Strawberry Bank Road - From outside No.10 Strawberry Bank Road for 113m Westbound (both sides of carriageway)

South Dean Road - From outside No.8 South Dean Road to juction with Strawberry Bank Road (33m - both sides of carriageway).

The Order commences on 29 June 2026 and has a maximum duration of 18 months or until the works are completed, whichever is earlier. The works are expected to commence from 29 June 2026 at 08:00 with the restrictions remaining in place until 10 July 2026 at 17:00. Days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions but the Order will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed.

(Stevenson Street, Kilmarnock (Temporary Road Closure, Prohibition of Waiting & Suspension of One Way Operation) Order 2026

On 16 June 2026 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the Road Traffic (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (East Ayrshire Council) Designation Order 2012 and the Road Traffic Act 1991 and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order to allow installation of pedestrian buildout and widening of footways.

Temporary Road Closure – Stevenson Street, Kilmarnock: For 271m from junction of Bonnyton Road to junction with Irvine Road.

No Waiting At Any Time - Stevenson Street, Kilmarnock: For 65m from junction of Bonnyton Road to junction with Munro Lane on both sides of carriageway.

For 51m from junction with Gibson Street to junction with Stevenson Lane on both sides of carriageway

Suspension of One Way Operation - Stevenson Street, Kilmarnock: For 271m from junction of Bonnyton Road to junction with Irvine Road.

The Order commences on 29 June 2026 and has a maximum duration of 18 months or until the works are completed, whichever is earlier. The works are expected to commence from 29 June 2026 at 08:00 until 10 July 2026 at 16:00.

The road is expected to be closed between 08:00 and 16:00 each day with it being open out-with these times.

The days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions but the Order will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed.

Emergency Services access will not be affected and access for residents, deliveries and pedestrians’ out-with the working zone will be maintained whenever possible and safe to do so.

An alternative route will be signed via Bonnyton Road, Munro Avenue, Irvine Road and vice versa in both directions.

(Laigh Road,St Cuthberts Street, Catrine) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2026

On 16 June 2026 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order to allow BT Works.

Temporary Road Closure – Laigh Road, St Cuthberts Street, Catrine

The Order commences on 30 June 2026 and has a maximum duration of 18 months or until the works are completed, whichever is earlier. The works are expected to commence from 30 June 2026 at 08:00 until 08 July 2026 at 17:00.

The road is expected to be closed between 08:00 and 17:00 each day with it being open out-with these times. The works will be carried out in phases to minimise disruption The days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions but the Order will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed.

Emergency Services access will not be affected and access for residents, deliveries and pedestrians’ out-with the working zone will be maintained.

An alternative route will be signed via Laigh Road - B705 - Ayr Street And Vice Versa.

SOUTH AYRSHIRE COUNCIL
(Longhill Avenue, Ayr - Doonfoot) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2026

On 11 June 2026 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order to allow Scottish Power Works.

Temporary Road Closure – Longhill Avenue, Ayr - Doonfoot

From junction with Cairnsmore Drive to junction with Stonefield Park and Lamford Drive (205m).

The Order commences on 29 June 2026 and has a maximum duration of 18 months or until the works are completed, whichever is earlier. The works are expected to commence from 29 June 2026 at 08:00 until 24 July 2026 at 23:59.

The days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions but the Order will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed.

Emergency Services access will not be affected and access for residents, deliveries and pedestrians’ out-with the working zone will be maintained when possible and safe to do so.

An alternative route will be signed via B7024 Alloway, Greenfield Avenue, A719 Dunure Road, Longhill Avenue and vice versa.

On 11 June 2026 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the Road Traffic (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (South Ayrshire Council) Designation Order 2012 and the Road Traffic Act 1991 and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order to allow Carriageway Resurfacing.

On 11 June 2026 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order, to allow SGN works.

Temporary Road Closure – Blackburn Road, Ronaldshaw Park, Ayr

Blackburn Road - From juction at Racecourse Road to number 2 Ronaldshaw Park - From junction at Racecourse Road to number 20

The Order commences on 29 June 2026 and has a maximum duration of 18 months or until the works are completed, whichever is earlier. The works are expected to commence from 29 June 2026 at 07:00 until 26 July 2026 at 19:00.

The days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions but the Order will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed.

Access for Emergency Services,residents and deliveries out-with the working zone will be maintained via diversion route.

An alternative route will be signed via: Ronaldshaw - Racecourse Road - Bellevue Road - Midton Road - Southpark Road -Racecourse Road Blackburn Road - Clark Avenue - Bentfield Avenue.
